You can easily sell your gently used children's clothing, footwear, toys, and books by booking a local consignment drop-off appointment with Pea Shoots.
We handle the photographing, listing, and marketing of your items on our online store, so you don't have to deal with the hassle of online buy-and-sell groups.
What children's items can I consign with Pea Shoots?
We accept high-quality, pre-loved children's items including clothing (sizes newborn to 14 years), footwear, outerwear, baby essentials, books, and toys. All items must be in excellent, clean condition, free of stains or damage, strong odours and pet hair.
How does the consignment payout work?
Pea Shoots Consignment offers a generous 50% payout split back to the consignor once your items sell. Payouts are conveniently sent via e-transfer, or you can choose to keep your earnings as store credit to shop for your growing kids.
Do I Get My Unsold Items Back?
Yes! These items belong to you and anything unsold at the end of your consignment term is returned to you. Items can be donated locally if you prefer not to get them back. We currently donate to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Club, Nanaimo Hospice Thrift Shop and Just Thrift.
Where is Pea Shoots Consignment located for drop-offs?
While we are a 24/7 online children's boutique, our local pickup and consignment drop-off hub is located in the Central/North Nanaimo area (Beaver Creek Crescent). Drop-offs are scheduled strictly by appointment to ensure personalized service for every local parent.

Are There Items You DON'T Accept?
We are unable to sell cribs, recalled items of any kind, used helmets or baby / sleep nests. If you are unsure if it is something that can be consigned, please reach out and ask.
Can I Consign Large Like Rockers, High Chairs, etc?
Large items are consigned if we have the space to accommodate these items at the time of your appointment. Please discuss with Emily before dropping these items off.
